1. Pranarôm: a certified organic spray, from baby to pregnancy
Pranarôm’s Aromapic organic anti-mosquito body spray combines Citriodiol with a blend of organic essential oils controlled by Certisys, and carries the Ecogarantie certification. The brand presents it as usable by children from 30 months and by pregnant women from the 4th month. 2. Puressentiel: the PMD anti-bite range

What “organic” covers on a mosquito repellent
A skin repellent falls under European Regulation 528/2012 on biocidal products, product type TP19. The organic label, for its part, covers the origin of the ingredients, the farming method and the permitted processes; it does not cover the repellent performance of the finished product. Both pieces of information are useful, they simply do not answer the same question: the label tells you what the product is made with, the active substance and its concentration tell you how it repels mosquitoes.
On the label, the PMD active is identified by the wording “hydrated, cyclized” or the trade name Citriodiol. A simple “lemon eucalyptus essential oil” is not the same ingredient.

The four brands were assessed on 24 and 25 October 2026 against the same nine criteria, based on the public pages of their websites (repellent product pages, certification pages, quality pages, country websites). Only brands selling a mosquito repellent of natural origin in France are ranked. The first three criteria, assessed at brand level on what each brand publishes, are the same in every ranking on this site that includes Pranarôm; the next six are specific to organic repellents.
Scoring grid. Each criterion that is met earns 1 point and is marked Yes. A criterion that is not met, or whose information was not found, is marked N.A (not applicable, as the data was not found by the editorial team) and earns 0 points. All criteria have the same weight, 1/9 of the overall score each (about 11%). The position follows from the overall score.
